Topical fluoride is usually delivered through fluoride-enriched products, such as toothpastes, mouthwashes, gels, and rinses. We generally offer topical fluoride at each routine dental checkup at Dental Solutions. Systemic fluoride, on the other hand, is taken in pill form and is also ingested through the foods we eat and our water supply. Systemic fluoride is most often suggested for those at greater risk of tooth decay.
